We are seeking a dedicated Family Liaison/Pastoral Officer to join our vibrant and inclusive school, where our children and families are truly wonderful. This is a key role in promoting wellbeing, resilience, and engagement across our school community. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Lead on pastoral support for pupils, working closely with staff, Senco, families, and external agencies.
  • Act as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead, supporting the DSL and other DDSLs in all aspects of safeguarding and child protection including attending early help, core group/child protection meetings.
  • Work proactively to improve attendance, identifying barriers and implementing supportive interventions.
  • Build strong relationships with families, offering guidance and signposting to services where needed.
  • Lead on fundraising events and liaise with families across the school to support raising funds to enhancement to our learning environment for our children.
  • Contribute to the spiritual, emotional, and social development of pupils in line with our Catholic ethos.

  • Has experience in pastoral care, safeguarding, or family liaison within an educational setting.
