Due to a recent retirement, an exciting vacancy has arisen at St Clement’s CEP School for a suitably skilled, reliable and self-motivated person to join our friendly and dedicated team.

The successful candidate will ensure our school site is maintained to the highest standard so that our children are provided the best learning environment both indoors and out.

The successful applicant will have excellent time management, so that they are able to prioritise workload and work on their own initiative. They will need to be self-motivated, enthusiastic, flexible and reliable.   

The role involves all aspects of school site management.  Taking care of the grounds safety and security, alongside general maintenance. 

A wide range of practical skills is essential. 

This is an all-year-round full-time post, 37 hours per week, with 28 days’ holiday. 

Historically the role has been a split shift with a 7am start and 6pm finish; however, there is also flexibility to offer this role with condensed hours each day from 7-3:30 pm.

Working hours may be subject to variation and call-out at weekends and unsocial hours may be necessary from time to time.
