We are seeking to appoint a Welfare Assistant to manage all aspects of first aid and pupil welfare.  This vacancy is to cover maternity leave and will be for a fixed term period of 9 months in the first instance.  The fixed term may be extended should the need arise.   As the School Welfare Assistant you will be primarily responsible for providing first aid and  dealing with all medical matters for pupils and staff together with the administration of medical plans, logging all first aid and accident reporting. 

The hours of the role are 9.45am - 2.45pm Monday to Friday, term time only with a start date on or around Monday 10th November 2025.

The successful candidate will need to be empathetic, caring wtih the ability to prioritise.   We are looking for someone with a 3 day first aid qualification (or the willingness to update or train for this).

It is very popular and is regularly oversubscribed, our current pupil role is over 650 pupils.
