We are looking to appoint a KS2 Teaching Assistant (26 hours – working 8:30 – 3pm, 5 days a week) 

We are looking for someone who:

  • has a proven record of working with children in the primary school setting and understands what the role entails
  • genuinely wants to work collaboratively with other members of staff in a team and understands the importance of learning from other people
  • is keen to raise children’s standards by leading intervention groups and has a proven track record of doing so
  • has a good standard of English and Maths skills and good spoken language
  • it would be preferable, but not essential, if the applicant had prevous experience of working in Y5 or Y6

The right candidate must also demonstrate good interpersonal skills at all levels, a good work ethic, good organisational skills and a keen interest in improving life chances for all children.
