Join Our Team as an Alternative Provision Lead

At Ursuline College, we are deeply committed to creating an inclusive, nurturing environment where every student is empowered to achieve their full potential. We believe that no young person should be left behind, and we are proud to introduce a new role designed to strengthen our support for students who may benefit from a more personalised and alternative approach to education.

We are seeking a compassionate, adaptable, and dedicated Alternative Provision Lead to play a key role in supporting students with complex needs, helping them to re-engage with their learning and build positive pathways for the future.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Proven experience working with young people in an alternative provision, pastoral, or behaviour support setting.

  • Strong understanding of strategies to support students with social, emotional, and behavioural needs.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build trust and positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.

  • A patient, solution-focused, and resilient attitude.

  • Confidence in managing challenging situations with empathy and consistency.

  • A commitment to helping young people overcome barriers and realise their potential.

What We Can Offer:

  • A supportive and experienced leadership team who value alternative approaches to learning.

  • Ongoing CPD and training opportunities tailored to your development.

  • A chance to have a lasting impact on students’ lives by supporting them through challenges and celebrating their successes.

  • A school culture centred on care, inclusion, and high aspirations.

  • A positive, collaborative team environment.

If you are driven by a desire to support vulnerable learners and are passionate about inclusive education, we would love to hear from you.
