We are looking for a fantastic Teaching Assistant to work in a classroom either on a 1 to 1 basis or to work as a general Teaching Assistant supporting all children with their learning. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to make a real difference to children's development, supporting and encouraging them to reach their full potential. 

The successful candidate must be enthusiastic, kind, patient, calm and have the ability to work within a team. They must also have a good standard of English and Maths as well as good interpersonal skills.  In return, we can offer a supportive environment and the opportunity to be part of a wonderful team, supported by experienced colleagues.  

This position will be based across the school so it's important the successful candidate is flexible about where they work in the school. It will also involve some lunchtime supervision and supporting children with lunches. 

This is a part-time position for 4 mornings a week (days to be negotiated) from 9am-1pm

St Lawrence C.E. Primary is a popular, oversubscribed, rural school consisting of 4 classes.

The school is set in idyllic surroundings and has a strong sense of community spirit and a caring family atmosphere. We have particular strengths in the arts, forest school, outdoor learning and a child focused ethos. We are very proud to be a church school with embedded Christian values and we enjoy strong relationships with our local church.

We have a stable and experienced staff team. Staff morale is high and staff turn-over is low.
