Advert

Gad’s Hill School requires an inspiring and effective Teacher of Geography to join our Humanities Department from January 2026.

The majority of teaching will be in our Upper School, to pupils in Key Stages 3 and 4, but there is some teaching requirement for pupils at the top end of Key Stage 2.

Geography is an optional subject from the beginning of Upper Fourth (Year 9), when we commence the AQA GCSE syllabus, but it remains a popular choice amongst our pupils.

The successful candidate will likely also teach some PSHE and Religion and Worldviews lessons, and an ability and willingness to teach Key Stage 4 Psychology would be a real advantage.

The department has taken our pupils on some exciting educational visits in recent years, including last year’s trip to Iceland.
