We are seeking to recruit a 0.2 Year 1 /2 teacher for our lovely KS1 children. The vacancy is for one day a week (Thursday) from 3rd November 2025 (or sooner if available) until the end of July 2026.

Since September 2024, we have been part of the Pioneer Federation and work in close partnership with our colleagues from other schools, including having a joint curriculum, planning, and CPD. This enables our teachers to focus on what really matters- our children and providing excellent teaching and learning. 

 

The successful candidate should demonstrate:

Experience in teaching KS1

Excellent professional skills

Be able to work as part of a team

Have high expectations and standards

Groombridge St Thomas is just under a one-form entry primary school situated just inside East Sussex, on the Kent/East Sussex border, and a few miles from Tunbridge Wells. We work in collaboration with other small schools as part of the Pioneer Federation. As part of the Federation, we have a joint curriculum, joint planning, and CPD together. This enables our teachers to focus on providing excellent teaching and learning in the classroom.
