We are seeking an Assistant Headteacher to join our senior leadership team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our inclusive and nurturing school. This is a strategic leadership position with a specific focus on SEND provision, EHCP outcomes, and enhancing systems around Annual Reviews and Provision Mapping—ensuring every child’s individual needs are met with care and ambition.


What You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Supporting the Headteacher in the strategic leadership and day-to-day management of the school
  • Leading on SEND provision and ensuring high-quality outcomes for pupils with EHCPs
  • Developing and embedding systems that promote high expectations and inclusive practices
  • Fostering a culture of respect, collaboration, and positivity across staff and pupils

  • Has a passionate belief in inclusion and a deep understanding of how to support all children to thrive
  • Holds or is willing to achieve the National Award for SEN Coordination
  • Is an inspirational leader and role model with strong classroom experience
  • Is dynamic, enthusiastic, and committed to raising standards through innovative practice
  • Has excellent communication skills and can support staff development with empathy and challenge
