Catering Assistant - Part-time Term Time

Christ Church Junior School is looking to recruit a Catering Assistant to join our team.   We run our own kitchen in house and prepare hot meals each day during term time.  This role is for 10 hours per week, working 11.30am until 1.30pm Monday - Friday, term time only.  The grade for this role is KSA.

We are looking for someone who can help our chef with washing up, operating the dishwasher, serving the children and generally being on hand to help keep the kitchen clean, tidy and ensure lunchtime runs smoothly.

What we are looking for:

Enhanced DBS check is required for this role

Previous experience of working in a kitchen desirable.

Skills Required:

Have food preparation experience and an understanding of safe and correct food hygiene/handling procedures.

Enthusiasm

Able to work on their own and/or as part of a team

Able to take instruction and willing to learn
