Start Date: September 2025

Are you passionate about music and its power to inspire, uplift, and bring people together? Hartlip Endowed Church of England Primary School is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Music Specialist to lead and enrich our vibrant musical life.

At Hartlip, music is woven into the fabric of our school community. It is joyful, inclusive, and central to our ethos. From singing in church to performing in school productions, our children thrive through musical expression.

We are looking for someone to join us one day per week, ideally on Fridays, to lead and coordinate our music provision. This special day will include:

  • Leading music in church as part of our weekly worship
  • Running rehearsals for our Band and Singing Squad
  • Ending the week with whole-school singing – music to lift the soul and start the weekend with joy
  • Supporting special events, including the Nativity and End-of-Year Performance
  • Collaborating with staff and children to arrange extra rehearsals and prepare for performance

A successful candidate will be:

  • A confident musician and inspiring teacher
  • Someone who loves working with children and values the role of music in education
  • Experience in leading choirs, ensembles, or school productions is desirable
  • A team player who can work closely with staff and contribute to the wider life of the school

Hartlip is a small, nurturing school with a big heart. Our music provision is a cherished part of school life, and we are excited to welcome someone who shares our passion and vision.
