We are looking for a kind, caring, reliable and child centred individual to serve lunches to the children. Our meals are not cooked on site and so the role will involve checking the food as it arrives, laying the tables, serving food and then clearing away at the end. No previous experience is required but we are looking for someone who will enjoy spending time with the children and supporting them during the lunch period. 

The hours will be 11.30am-1.30pm and ideally we are looking for someone for five days a week. However we will consider applications from candidates who can only offer two, three or four days a week. 

This is a lovely opportunity to work in a small, friendly school with a supportive and dedicated staff team and to play a vital role in the smooth running of the lunchtime period.  Please do contact the Headteacher for further information or for an informal chat about the role.

St Lawrence C.E. Primary is a popular, oversubscribed, rural school consisting of 4 classes.

The school is set in idyllic surroundings and has a strong sense of community spirit and a caring family atmosphere. We have particular strengths in the arts, forest school, outdoor learning and a child focused ethos. We are very proud to be a church school with embedded Christian values and we enjoy strong relationships with our local church.
