We are looking to appoint a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support pupils in across the school in all areas of school life. This position will be linked to specific children. The hours will be 27 hours and we are offering a fixed term contract ending 31st August 2026, with a possible renewal after that. 

We are looking for someone who:

• has a good standard of English and Maths skills and good spoken language
• genuinely wants to work collaboratively with other members of staff in a team and understands the importance of learning from other people
• can use their initative to best support a pupil on a 1:1 basis
• can work flexibly 
• has a sunny disposition and at least a basic understanding of child development 
• experience would be preferred but not essential 

The right candidate must also demonstrate good interpersonal skills at all levels, a good work ethic, good organisational skills and a keen interest in improving life chances for all children.
