Goldwyn School is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant to join our valued team of staff in supporting children and young people. This is an exciting time to become part of our organisation as we look to further expand and build on our success.

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about working with children and young people with Special Educational Needs, and who can help us make a positive impact on a student’s life by helping them to achieve their full potential.   All our students have an Education, Health and Care Plan in place and a range of needs including Social, Emotional & Mental Health difficulties, Autistic Spectrum Disorder and ADHD.

  • Experienced or passionate in working with students aged 11-18 years with a range of social emotional mental health and/or behavioural needs.

Goldwyn students are of mixed and high ability (NC level 3-4 on entry) and as such are capable of achieving GCSE and other Level 2 qualifications in Year 11. 

This post is offered on KSB £25,126 per annum pro rata plus SEN Allowance of £1484.97 per annum and is for 32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks a year (term time only plus 5 staff development days).   Actual salary is £20,659.58 per annum including SENA
