We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistants to support learning in KS2. This is a  fixed-term role that is a brilliant opportunity for someone passionate about education and ready to make a real difference.

  • Support individuals and small groups in class to reach their full potential
  • Promote inclusion and independent learning
  • Prepare and adapt lesson resources under teacher guidance
  • Support class routines and behaviour management
  • Supervise lunchtime play (paid duty)
  • Provide pastoral care and emotional support
  • Contribute to a safe and engaging learning environment

Candidates will be judged on both their capability for the post and their suitability for working with children. Good English and Maths skills are essential and candidates must have GCSE maths and English at grade C or above.

Woodchurch Church of England Primary School has 165 children on roll and is situated in the heart of the Kent countryside in the village of Woodchurch, 6 miles from Ashford and 4 miles from Tenterden. We are a school at the heart of the community, that puts children at the heart of everything we do. Our site consists of a mixture of Victorian and modern buildings.
