Information about the school

We are a small one form entry school set in a thriving rural village in the Low Weald of Kent. We have a fantastic and committed team of teachers, TAs and support staff who make coming to school a pleasure, whether you are a pupil, a teacher, a parent or a visitor.

As well as an excellent academic education, we try to provide our children with an all-round experience. This includes wrap-around care from 8am – 5.30pm, utilising a local Sports Coach who provides a different sports activity each day.

We are an active member of the Tenterden Rural Alliance (TRA) which gives us access to training, support and cooperation with twelve of our neighbouring schools, including the local secondary. The TRA has helped us to develop and improve all aspects of school life and will be ready and able to support you as head.

We work hard to forge links with the local community and our proximity to the church affords us opportunities to hold concerts, plays and productions as well as nurturing the spiritual growth of all within the School community.

In January 2018, Ofsted rated us as Good. We are very proud of our school and are passionate to improve outcomes for all our children, whatever their individual circumstances.
