Assistant SENCO 

Salary: TGS6 – FTE £30,771 - £33,939, pro rata £21,340 - £23,537. 

30 hours per week 

Term time (39 weeks including Academy Days) 

Permanent 

Start date: 1 September 2025 

 

We are seeking an efficient, well-organised and enthusiastic Assistant SENCO to join our committed and hard-working SEN team.  

Join our friendly SEN Team 

You will support the SENCO in managing SEN provision across the School, implement support programmes and monitor students with SEN, liaising with staff, parents and outside agencies.  

 

According to Ofsted 2024:  The school supports pupils with SEND especially well. Needs are identified quickly and shared with staff, so that they can make effective adaptations to their lessons. This ensures that pupils with SEND access the same, rich curriculum offer as their peers. Where needs are more significant, bespoke support is put in place to ensure they thrive.
