Leigh Academy Hugh Christie is seeking an Inclusion Manager to join our committed team. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of young people by supporting them to reflect, reset and thrive in a culture of high expectations.

Working as part of our dedicated pastoral and behaviour teams, you will lead our internal inclusion provision – providing a calm, structured environment where students can continue their learning and receive the support they need to successfully reintegrate into mainstream lessons.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be calm, resilient and able to build positive relationships with students

  • Supervise our internal exclusion room and uphold routines for focused, disruption-free learning

  • Provide students with guidance and strategies to improve behaviour and self-regulation

  • Work closely with families, pastoral leads and the senior team to promote inclusion over exclusion

  • Support wider academy behaviour systems through patrol, detentions, and behaviour tracking

If you’re resilient, empathetic, and ready to take on a role with real purpose and impact — we’d love to hear from you.

The basis of this role is permanent, working 37.5 hours per week (Monday - Friday), Term Time + 1 week of inset and offering an actual salary of £21,274 - £22,734 per annum (£24,404 - £26,079 full-time equivalent) based on experience.
