We are seeking to appoint a friendly, enthusiastic and skilled administrator to join our organisation from September 2025, to fulfil the role of HR Administrator.

This post is for 37 hrs per week, all year round, however Term time plus weeks may also be considered. Working hours will be Monday to Thursday 8am-4pm and Friday 8am-3.30pm.

The post is initially on a fixed term basis for one year, with the potential to then become a permanent position.

The post holder will be supporting the HR Manager and will be responsible for a variety of HR administrative tasks and some data / financial tasks.

The successful candidate should possess GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent), Grade C or above. They must be flexible in their approach to work, self-motivated and be able to prioritise their work effectively in order to meet deadlines. They will also need to possess good interpersonal qualities, strong communication skills and be computer literate, with a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office and strong excel skills. Knowledge of SAM People, Arbor and previous experience of working in a school environment would be advantageous, although not essential, as training will be provided. HR experience is essential and a flexible nature, attention to detail, along with a professional attitude, are paramount.

The successful applicant will provide support in a variety of tasks across the HR functions within the Trust. These will include supporting with maintaining personnel records on Arbor and SAM people and supporting with staff recruitment. They may also provide support to the wider administrative team and leadership team as the need arises. A full job description can be found in the attached recruitment pack.
