Part-Time Teacher of Social Sciences – Maternity Cover – Required for September 2025

 

We are seeking to appoint a part-time Teacher of Social Sciences (2 days per week) to cover maternity leave, from September 2025. This will be a fixed term contract until Easter 2026. The position will primarily involve teaching sociology and psychology.  The successful candidate will have the ability to teach these subjects at both GCSE and A Level.  The position is open to ECTs as well as more experienced colleagues.

 

The social science faculty is a high performing department with a strong team.  There are 4 full-time teachers in the department.  Students study AQA for both GCSE and A Level Psychology and Sociology and WJEC Criminology.
