An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the teaching team here at Littlebourne CEP School. We are looking for a hard-working, forward-thinking teacher to join us in Term 2 (October 2025) to teach our Year 4/5 class on a fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave.

As a school, we pride ourselves on our Christian vision and values. Our vision revolves around the story of The Good Samaritan - this ensures that we think about what we can do help others. As a small village school comprising of 105 children across five classes, we are the focal point of our community. Our outward facing approach ensures that every child in the village feels at home here.

Our children and staff are proud of the fact that we all grow and thrive together. An aspirational curriculum ensures our children acheive the best outcomes. Each class has a full time teacher and a full time teaching assistant to support all children to acheive highly. Alongside this, our forest school provision enables all children to develop their social and emotional skills while solving problems and playing with their peers.

The direction of travel for our school is exciting. We are a forward-thinking school that is aspirational for what everyone, both children and staff, can acheive. This is the perfect time to join the team and be part of the journey.

The ideal candidate for us would -

  • Fully support our Christian ethos
  • Be a forward-thinking teacher who has high expectations for all
  • Have a good understanding of adaptive teaching and supporting all children through whole class teaching
  • Be open-minded to developing teaching pedagogies

In return, we can offer the successful candidate -

  • Polite, respectful and hardworking children
  • A supportive senior leadership team
  • A full time teaching assistant
  • The option for PPA to be taken from home
  • The opportunity to work alongside a supportive, small staff team - all of whom want the best for our school and community.

It is strongly advised that all potential applicants arrange to visit the school before applying. To do so, please contact the school office to book an appointment.
