We are looking to appoint a skilled, enthusiastic and well organised person, with a good sense of humour, to join our Admin Team as an Admissions & Attendance Administrator/Officer.  The successful candidate will be part of a friendly and hardworking office team, supporting the school, its pupils and parents/carers.

This position is for 35 hours per week (8.00am-3.30pm, including 0.5 hours each lunchtime) 39 weeks per year (Term Time).  The pro-ratad salary is based on EKC 3 FTE £24,521 or EKC 4 FTE £25,486 depending on experience.

What is essential:

  • A good level of education, including English and Maths.
  • A wide knowledge and understanding of computer programmes such as Microsoft Office.  Knowledge of Arbor would be an advantage.
  • Ability to work within a team, showing support and flexibility, whilst being able to take personal responsibility for organising day to day workload.
  • Friendly and approachable manner with excellent communication skills.
  • Supportive of the school motto. 

The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience of working within a school environment.   

The post requires the ability to be methodical and well organised, work well under pressure, using your own initiative and prioritising work within a busy environment.
