We are looking for an exceptional class teacher to fill a position which has become available due to a relocation of an existing member of staff. We want someone who will fit seamlessly into our great staff team and in a school where staff wellbeing is high on the agenda.

 

Our children and parents are a delight to work with and relationships are warm and friendly. It would be an expectation that the appointed staff member will lead a foundation subject which is very much open to discussion

As Headteacher I am delighted and proud to share with you our vibrant and diverse primary school in the Riverside area of Gravesend. We are a 2 form entry school that likes to celebrate the success of every child at every level, encouraging a thirst for learning that continues with our pupils throughout their future school experiences and lives.

We have created a warm, open and welcoming atmosphere at Chantry, focusing on the positive, friendly relationships we have both within the school and also with our parents Visitors to the school comment favourably on the calm, orderly and well behaved environment we have created.

The life of the academy is driven by enthusiasm and a desire for all to achieve academic and individual excellence, regardless of starting points, ensuring that each child is encouraged and supported to be the best they can be.
