The successful candidate will be able to offer financial support, working to school policies and procedures in order to achieve value for money. You will be responsible for placing orders, processing invoices, responding to queries, whilst maintaining the central filing system. The successful candidate will possess excellent administration and computer skills, with previous experience working within finance, competencies in Microsoft office and knowledge of FMS is desirable. There is a requirement that the successful candidate will possess a minimum qualification in Maths and English to GCSE Grade C or equivalent.

The post holder’s duties will include:-

  • Prepare and upload personnel documents for new staff and leavers
  • Administration of GDPR compliance
  • Process day to day orders and invoices on FMS
  • Stock control and monitoring of resources
  • Asset Register Updates
  • Filing and archiving
  • Telephone and reception duties where necessary
  • Assisting the team to cover during occasional staff absence 

The working hours are 16.5 each week, to be worked over 5 mornings, term time only (13 weeks holiday) and the salary is KSC £25,252 FTE (£9,521.40 actual) In return we offer the opportunity to be part of a forward thinking school that supports and empowers children in our care, as well as a competitive salary and local government pension scheme.  There will be an opportunity to work additional days for training and development.
