Information about the school

We are a small federation, consisting of our Infant and Junior schools (both 2-form entry). We created our federation in 2017 in order to ensure consistently strong practice across the primary phase. Since its creation, the federation has gone from strength to strength, harbouring a strong community feel, with outstanding relationships with our parents, and children who feel happy, safe and demonstrate a real willingness to learn. While still 2 separate schools with our own identities, we have a shared governing body and the leadership team works very closely together, sharing its vision and learning behaviours of Creativity, Exploration, Learning and Kindness in order to give our pupils every chance of success as they move onto their next stages in development. Children genuinely do come at the heart of all of our decision making and we are passionate about sharing our strong practice with the community – this is evident to all who visit us.

What our parents say about us:

“We are extremely pleased the school life our child is having at Brookfield Junior School. Our child is thriving both academically and personally, and we can see the positive impact of the school's supportive and nurturing environment. The ethos of the school has created a space where our child feels valued and motivated to excel; a remarkable difference. It takes a village to raise a child and we are so grateful that Brookfield Junior School is part of ours.” “Couldn't be happier with Brookfield - a truly wonderful school all round!” “My twins have settled in brilliantly to junior school life and this is down to the fantastic teaching staff in school. All staff work so hard to ensure every child is happy and that they are meeting their full potential. We are both extremely proud of the progress they have both made!”
