The Marlborough is a specialist provision for children with complex needs on the autistic spectrum.

Hoo St Werburgh Primary School & The Marlborough were graded Good by Ofsted in March 2024 with Personal Development being outstanding.

We have also had external quality assurance recognising we are providing outstanding educational provision within The Marlborough.

The successful candidate will work as part of a team delivering individualised curricula which provides children with appropriate opportunities to make outstanding progress in every aspect

of their learning and development. Knowledge of working with children on the autistic spectrum and experience of working within the specialist education sector is preferable. However, we are more than happy to hear from candidates from the mainstream sector. You should be a consistently good or better classroom practitioner with strongly developed skills in assessment for learning. Alongside a resilient and positive nature, a sense of humour is essential!
