Finance Assistant Required

37 hours per week - Term time plus INSET days plus 1 week during summer holidays

Salary - CAT Grade 3 Point 11 £23,846 FTE (£21,223 actual)

Newington Community Primary School is looking to appoint a Finance Assistant to support the School Business Manager within our large, busy school.
Your main responsibilities will include raising orders, processing purchase and sales invoices, arranging BACs payments, processing funds received into the school and banking arrangements. You will also work as part of the admin team in the main school office, and provide support to the team through dealing with visitors, parental and staff queries, and general telephone calls.
The ideal candidate will need to be well organised, proficient in their own time management, be able to work well as part of a team as well as on their own, have a friendly, welcoming manner, and be able to communicate with all members of our school community. Above all though a sense of humour is essential!

Newington Community Primary School and Nursery is a large primary school which is situated on the outskirts of Ramsgate. In July 2024, Newington joined the Coastal Academies Trust, working alongside other schools to benefit all of our children across Thanet.
