Bexleyheath Academy, a thriving secondary school at the heart of the community, is seeking a dynamic and visionary Head of Geography to lead a team and drive excellence across the department. About the Role:

As Head of Geography, you will:

  • Experience of teaching Geography, History and RE.
  • Lead curriculum development and ensure high-quality teaching and learning.
  • Support and develop a team of dedicated geography specialists.
  • Champion student progress, engagement, and achievement across all key stages.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the LIFT Schools network to share best practice.

  • An enthusiastic and experienced geography teacher with a track record of strong leadership or clear potential to lead.
  • Deep subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring young people.

The role is due to commence September 2025. This is a full time, permanent position.
