We are looking for a versatile primary teacher to join our small team in September 2025.

We are looking to appoint a highly motivated, enthusiastic classroom teacher, to start in September 2025. We are a 'good' school (OFSTED Decemeber 2024) with high standards and are continuing to drive improvements.

This post is advertised as a full time/ part time vacancy, please apply stating your preferred FTE. Experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers are welcome to apply.  Please ensure you include within your application your preferred Key Stage.We will also welcome applications for EYFS. At this stage we have some flexibility around class placements for next year depending on the succesful applicant.

We are looking for someone who is; an inspirational teacher, passionate about enabling every child to fulfil their potential and can effectively adapt their teaching to meet the needs of the children in their care. We are looking for a professional role model who is keen to work with a committed and hard working staff team.

Lydden Primary School is a small rural village school catering for approximately 80 children between the ages of 4-11. Children learn in our four classes.

We aspire for all children to become confident, caring individuals who achieve well academically and develop a love of learning. We aim for our children to develop lifelong skills, taking responsibility for their own learning so that they can face future challenges with confidence.

We know that children learn best when they are happy. We aim to develop self-confidence and have a holistic approach to learning and the curriculum; which enables our children to live as responsible members of their communities.

We offer an attractive and stimulating rural environment including an outdoor classroom, forest school and science area with a pond.
