We are looking to recruit a passionate and qualified teacher who will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning to pupils at our school. This is a full time, permanent position during which time you will foster a positive classroom environment and collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the overall success of the school.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the needs of the children
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Promote a love of learning
• Assess and monitor pupil progress
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies

Requirements: 

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

• A degree qualification
• Strong classroom management skills
• Outstanding classroom practice and a commitment to ensuring the best possible outcomes for children
• A commitment to inclusive education and equality of opportunity
• Able to use own initiative, creativity and innovative ideas to motivate and inspire children
• Ability to establish positive working relationships with colleagues, parents/carers and children
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Dedication to educating and empowering students
• A firm commitment to continuous professional development

Riverside Primary School:

We are a popular, mainstream community school, which is part of Rainham Mark Education Trust. The school had a good Ofsted Inspection in November 2019, and was recognised as being Outstanding in the areas of Behaviour and Attitudes and Personal Development. Rainham Mark Education Trust is a family of three Academies in Medway, compromising of Rainham Mark Grammar School - Ofsted ‘Good’ May 2022, Riverside Primary School and Nursery - Ofsted ‘Good’ November 2019 and Twydall Primary School and Nursery - Ofsted ‘Good’ May 2023.
