The Role 

5 mornings a week, 8.30am – 1.15pm, supporting children in our Reception (Year R) class.

This role involves working closely with class teachers to support learning and development, ensuring all children feel included, encouraged, and celebrated.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide targeted support to groups and individual children, including those with additional needs.
  • Work alongside the class teacher to support high-quality teaching and learning.
  • Assist with the preparation of learning activities and resources.
  • Support children’s social, emotional, and personal development in line with our school values.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school, including events and activities.
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all pupils at all times.

About You
We are looking for candidates who:

  • Are enthusiastic, flexible, and committed to supporting children’s learning and wellbeing.
  • Have excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Are patient, positive, and nurturing in their approach.
  • Have experience working with young children, preferably within a school setting.
  • Are committed to our Christian ethos and inclusive school values.
