Advert

Marketing Officer

Monday-Friday 8am to 4pm, 40 hours per week

We are excited to share this unique opportunity to join St Michael’s Prep School’s small award-winning Marketing Team, starting in August/ September 2025. The Marketing Officer will play a pivotal role in all aspects of marketing including photography and videography, social media, events and advertising.

The successful applicant will plan, develop and deliver high-quality content which communicates the Joy and Wonder of St Michael’s to all of its stakeholders and the wider community. We are seeking a positive, ambitious and diligent individual with strong digital communication and content creation skills: experience of schools’ marketing is desirable but not essential. The successful candidate will have an excellent work ethic, project management skills and a proactive approach to all tasks.

This is an office-based role, however, for the right candidate we would be happy to consider a minimum of 40 weeks per annum instead of all year round; if this is something you would prefer, please include this in your application. There is some flexibility for remote working during holiday periods, subject to agreement on an ad hoc basis.

Informal visits are welcome; please contact the HR Department for further details.

Salary: FTE £27,000-£30,000 per annum depending on skills and qualifications, which would be adjusted to the appropriate pro rata amount if the successful candidate is employed on a reduced weeks contract.

Closing date:  Wednesday 14th May 2025 at 8.00am, early applications welcomed (we reserve the right to appoint before the closing date).

Provisional interview dates Monday 19th May and Tuesday 20th May.

Applications from previous candidates for this role will not be accepted.

St Michael’s Prep School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and the successful applicant will be subject to an enhanced disclosure through the Disclosure and Barring Service and online digital presence checks if invited to interview.
