Higher Level Teaching Assistant  

Salary – Grade C2

Hours - 35 hours per week, 8:30am – 4:00pm, term time only 

Provisional starting date – ASAP 

We are looking to appoint a highly motivated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant who is passionate about children’s learning, has a positive attitude and is able to fit in with our hardworking staff team to nurture, target and enable all of our children to thrive.   

 

If you are well qualified, enthusiastic and passionate about working with children and confident to cover whole class teaching and PPA then you could be just the person for us.  If you want to work in a well-resourced setting and share our school ARISE values (Achieve Respect Include Support Enjoy), we would love to hear from you.   

 

We are looking for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant who: 

  • Is qualified as a HLTA 
  • Positive and motivational at all times 
  • Able to remain calm in all situations 
  • Able to respond sensitively to individual’s needs  
  • Able to demonstrate an excellent work ethic including timekeeping, attendance and commitment  
  • Able to foster good relationships with others  
  • Able to use own initiative and work as part of a team  
  • Able to work closely with teachers in delivering work to individuals /small groups and report back to teachers on progress at the end of each day and pupil achievement.

All Saints Church of England Primary School is a very successful school located at the heart of the diverse community of Chatham, Kent. The main school has 315 children on roll from Foundation to Year 6 and the nursery has a capacity for 60 more.

The last Ofsted inspection graded the school “good” with outstanding features and our last Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools (SIAMS) concurred by awarding the school a grading of “good” as well.

Together with three other local Church schools, we are part of the Medway Anglican Schools Trust.
