Spring Grove Nursery is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our excellent Nursery team as soon as possible.

We want to recruit the best staff to work in our highly regarded Nursery and for the right person we will consider full-time, term-time or part-time/bank staff options, possibly with the flexibility to work full time over a 4-day week. Core hours during term time are 8.15am to 3.45pm, with extra hours to cover wraparound care always a possibility.  

You will need to have at least an NVQ Level 3 or above and a thorough knowledge of the EYFS. We also require you to have a good grasp of written and spoken English to support children, parents and your colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To promote a fun, high-quality and home-like environment for all of the children.
  • To support in planning and implementing a high standard of activities and opportunities.
  • To act as Key Person for children and complete observations and assessment reports.
  • To work in partnership with parents and carers by completing handovers at the end of each day and discussing children’s development.
  • To work closely with senior staff to support the continued development of the Nursery. 
  • To adhere to all school policies and procedures.
