Forest School Lead/HLTA

KSE £27852-£29716 (£21229 pro-rota)

32.5 hours per week Monday to Friday

Term Time only including inset days 39 weeks

September 2025 

We are looking for a passionate, skilled, and child-centred Forest School practitioner to join our team as a Forest School Lead with HLTA responsibilities. This is a unique opportunity to combine outdoor learning with classroom support, covering lessons across KS1 and KS2.

 We are looking for someone who –

  • holds a Level 3 Forest School Leader qualification (or working towards it)
  • has recent experience delivering Forest School or outdoor education
  • is a qualified HLTA or experienced TA with HLTA accreditation
  • has excellent classroom management and behaviour support skills
  • can adapt to cover across different age groups (KS1 and KS2)
  • is enthusiastic, flexible, and passionate about child-led learning
  • has good communication and teamwork skills
  • has energy and a sense of humour!
