What We’re Looking For:

  • Experienced Educator: You will have a proven track record in upper Key Stage 2, with a strong understanding of end-of-year expectations and the National Curriculum. Your experience will help guide our pupils to success!
  • Core Subject Leader: Whether your passion lies in Mathematics or English, you will take the lead in developing and enhancing our curriculum, ensuring it is engaging and effective for all learners.
  • Behaviour Management Pro: Your exceptional behaviour management skills will create a positive, respectful, and engaging classroom environment where every pupil can flourish.
  • SEND Champion: With a deep understanding of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), you will adapt your teaching to support all pupils, ensuring inclusivity in your classroom.

Your Role:

As a KS2 Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver dynamic and inspiring lessons that ignite a love for learning.
  • Prepare pupils for their Key Stage 2 assessments, ensuring they are confident and ready to shine.
  • Foster strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues, building a community of support and encouragement.

Archbishop Courtenay Church of England Primary School is an expanding 1.5 form entry school and a member of Aquila, The Diocese of Canterbury Academies Trust (www.aquilatrust.co.uk).

We work closely with our community, especially All Saints' Church, and have a PTFA which helps organise many events. PE and music specialists provide additional curriculum enrichment. All early years classrooms have their own, purpose-built outside learning environment. Our Pastoral & Wellbeing Manager offers highly effective support to our pupils and their families.
