We are looking for a Class Teaching Assistant to join our fabulous team at Painters Ash Primary School. This is a term time only position for 30 hours per week, 5 days a week. FTE salary £25,252 per annum, actual salary approx £16,320.15 per annum. We are happy to consider part-time hours for the right candidate.

Purpose of the Job:

To assist teachers in providing a learning environment that enables all children to access the curriculum and learn to the best of their ability.

To support children with their learning, social and personal development.

 The Ideal Candidate will:

· have high expectations for all children

· give children's social development and well-being the highest priority and recognise and value both academic and personal qualities of children

· have experience of working with children

· be pro-active and full of energy

· be a good team player with good interpersonal skills

· have good numeracy and literacy skills

· be able to work with teachers and work independently to support children

· additional learning or qualifications in Special Educational Needs are a bonus for the role.
