Are you passionate about making a difference in children’s lives? St Nicholas School is offering an exciting opportunity to train as a Primary Teacher through our Initial Teacher Training (ITT) programme starting September 2025.

This structured pathway, in collaboration with Canterbury University, will support you in gaining Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) while working in a welcoming and forward-thinking school environment.

We’re looking for aspiring teachers who are:

  • Enthusiastic about inclusive education and child development

  • Flexible, creative, and committed to supporting all learners

  • Especially interested in working with children with profound, severe, and complex needs

What you'll need:

  • A 2:2 or higher degree

  • GCSEs in English, Maths & Science (Grade C/4 or above)

  • Relevant experience working with children is desirable
