Following a recent retirement, we are excited to announce the recruitment of a new Head of Admissions position. St Michael’s is a vibrant Prep School, with high pupil numbers and robust waiting lists across multiple year groups.

The Head of Admissions will be instrumental in continuing this success, whilst actively promoting our vision, values and ethos of our school to prospective parents. Working closely with the Head, the Head of Marketing and the Senior Leadership Team, the ideal applicant will be a strategic and analytical thinker; able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

The Head of Admissions will manage the entire admissions process, supported by the Admissions Officer, and other colleagues from across the school. Previous experience in an admissions role or similar values-driven organisation is highly preferred. A comprehensive knowledge of data protection and successful completion of the Admissions, Marketing and Communications in Independent Schools (AMCIS) Certificate in Admissions Management would be advantageous.

We are seeking an accomplished leader who excels in collaborative teamwork, effective management, and has a demonstrated ability to monitor and analyse market trends and data. Our school cultivates an inclusive environment for both children and staff, promoting opportunities for all to grow and develop. If you’re ready to embrace your next challenge and make a meaningful impact within our community, this opportunity could be the perfect fit for you.

Informal visits are welcome; please contact the HR Department for further details.

Salary: competitive and dependent on skills and qualifications. Please call for further information.

Closing date: Tuesday 6th May 2025 at 9.00am, early applications welcomed (we reserve the right to appoint before the closing date).

St Michael’s Prep School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and the successful applicant will be subject to an enhanced disclosure through the Disclosure and Barring Service and online digital presence checks if invited to interview.
