New Line Learning Academy, a thriving secondary school and part of the dynamic Future Schools Trust, is seeking a dedicated Careers Advisor to support and inspire our students aged 11–16 in navigating their futures with confidence.  This role is Monday- Thursday 08:00-16:00, Friday 08:00-15:30, term time only plus 1 week (39 weeks)

About the Role

As our Careers Advisor, you will:

  • Lead the delivery of our Careers, Work Related Learning, and Enterprise provision.
  • Support students in exploring post-16 pathways, working with both internal staff and external organisations.
  • Help pupils make informed decisions about their future through tailored guidance and engaging events.
  • Maintain accurate records of student destinations and play a key role in building an alumni network.
  • Be a central figure in shaping our careers strategy to meet national framework standards.

 

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone who is:

  • Passionate about supporting young people in achieving their goals.
  • Knowledgeable about careers guidance and local labour markets.
  • Highly organised with strong communication skills.
  • Experienced in delivering careers programmes and events.

A careers guidance qualification and experience working with young people in an educational setting are highly desirable.
