Wouldham All Saints Church of England Primary School is on the lookout for an outstanding Deputy Headteacher to join our dedicated team! Following the exciting news that our wonderful Deputy Headteacher has secured a Headship at another school, this is a fantastic opportunity for an exceptional leader to build on the strong foundations laid by our existing leadership team and guide the school into its next chapter of excellence.

We welcome applications from excellent teachers who have a proven track record of success and experience at leadership level. You will need to demonstrate a positive impact in both your current and previous roles, showing a genuine desire to step into a Headteacher position in the future. In return we offer professional support and a genuine focus on staff well-being. As a dynamic leadership team, we welcome challenge and will enjoy supporting you to have autonomy alongside personal and professional development opportunities.

At Wouldham All Saints Church of England Primary School, we are passionate about making learning enjoyable, meaningful, and relevant to everyday life. In addition to being an outstanding classroom practitioner with experience across the complete primary age range, you will be committed to leading our curriculum. We aim to provide wonderful opportunities for our children that place learning at the forefront. You should be dynamic, creative, full of energy and drive, and absolutely passionate about making a positive difference to the lives of our children.

Over the past few years, we have established a robust curriculum that delivers excellent outcomes. Our new Deputy Headteacher will play a pivotal role in advancing this further, ensuring that our teaching, learning, and assessment across all curriculum areas remain of the highest quality. We are committed to providing every child with the best possible opportunity for an enriching school life in a safe, calm, creative, inclusive, and stimulating environment. Every child is recognised and valued as an individual, with unique interests, abilities, and backgrounds. We hold high expectations for behaviour, and our approaches are built on nurturing and trauma-informed practices, helping children manage their emotions and social interactions effectively. This is crucial for enabling them to achieve our three school rules: be safe, be a learner, and be respectful.

As an established church school located within a relatively new building, we offer facilities that will truly impress! We can provide you with an exciting environment full of fun, fabulous children, and tremendous potential for the future. Our commitment to outdoor physical activity and trips means we are particularly keen to hear about your strengths in these areas.

Experience of working within a church school environment is advantageous but not essential. What is essential, however, is a full understanding of the unique characteristics that define church schools.
