We require a midday supervisor to supervise packed lunch eating and monitor pupils during the lunch hour.  The requirement is for 2 hours per day and will include listening to pupils read.

All pupils have special educational needs and need particular understanding and patience.

Food hygiene regulations must be adhered to and a level 2 food hygiene certificate is required (school can provide training). A First Aid certificate is desirable but not essential.

Please note that this vacancy may close earlier than advertised if a suitable candidate is appointed.

Information about the school

We are a small mixed rural Independent school for children with additional needs (specific / general learning difficulties, speech and language difficulties, spectrum disorders, dyspraxia, anxiety etc). Pupils are age 5-11 years (Year 1 to Year 6) .

90% pupils have EHCPs. Some pupils are working below age expectations although many are achieving above expected academic levels but require support with their social communication skills.
