At Downsview Community Primary School, we are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will work closely with teachers to provide tailored support to pupils, particularly those with additional needs, in a welcoming and inclusive school environment.

What you’ll do:

  • Work 1:1 or with small groups of children to support learning, engagement, and development.
  • Assist in the planning and delivery of lessons, ensuring every child can access the curriculum.
  • Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning atmosphere.
  • Provide emotional and social support to children, fostering their personal growth and wellbeing.

Hours: 32.5 hours per week (8:30am - 3:30pm)
Pay: Kent Range 3 (KR3)

Downsview Community Primary School is an open, inclusive and welcoming school set in a semi-rural location in Swanley. We are a one form entry school with classes from Reception to Year 6. We are fortunate to be set in extensive grounds with lots of opportunities for outdoor learning and recreation.
