Five Acre Wood is a successful, outward looking and expanding District Special School based over 3 sites in and around Maidstone, Kent. We currently have over 840 pupils on roll aged up to 19 years with profound, severe and complex needs.

We are currently looking to recruit a Pupil Placement Administrator to cover a period of maternity leave up to one year.

 Principal Accountabilities:

  • Work closely with the Pupil Placement Strategic Manager regarding pupil admissions.
  • Maintain accurate spreadsheets to record information from all consultation approaches received and to detail key information to assist with report writing. 
  • Assist with the collection and collation of information for SEND Tribunal appeals, as required under the direction of the Pupil Placement Strategic Manager liaising with appropriate school staff, as well as following up the progress of any appeals.
  • Assist with the collation of information under the direction of the Pupil Placement Strategic Manager when Freedom of Information Requests (FOIR) and Data Subject Access Requests (DSAR) are received ensuring that the information is provided within expected timescales as well as assisting with the collation of any requested information made for reports and documentation from Solicitors, Social Workers, Respite providers etc.     

 

Our achievements include Ofsted “Outstanding”, and the WAS “Wellbeing Award” which recognises how we look after employees and pupils.

The role is term time only and attracts 27 days annual leave, working 37 hours per week, the hours will be 8am – 4pm, finishing at 3.30pm one day per week.

FTE salary for the post is £21,692.78 including FAW allowance.
