Abbey Court School in Strood, Kent, is offering a fantastic opportunity to become a Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant Apprentice. This is a rewarding role within a friendly and supportive environment, perfect for those who are highly motivated and eager to work with children with complex needs.

About the Role:

  • Position: Apprentice Teaching Assistant (Fixed Term – 22 Months)
  • Hours: 37 hours per week, 195 days per year (39 weeks)
    • Monday to Thursday: 8:45 AM – 4:45 PM
    • Friday: 8:45 AM – 4:15 PM
  • Salary: £8.60 per hour (£14,208 pro rata + £1,491 SEN Allowance)
  • Location: Working across both school sites as needed (both sites are in Strood)
  • Programme Provider: LAT Apprenticeships
  • Training Duration: 22 months (learning delivered online with one face-to-face session per month)
