At Leigh Academy Minster, languages are one of the most popular and well-loved subjects, and we’re looking for a dynamic and engaging Foreign Language Assistant to join our team. We need someone who can support our students in both French and Spanish, helping them develop their confidence in speaking and writing while immersing them in the culture, traditions, and real-world application of the language.

What You’ll Do:

🌍 Work with small groups of enthusiastic GCSE students to build their fluency and pronunciation.
📚 Support classroom learning by leading engaging spoken and written language activities.
🎭 Bring languages to life by sharing cultural insights, traditions, and current affairs.
🎓 Gain valuable experience working closely with our expert MFL teachers – perfect for those considering a future in teaching!

Our mission

The academy will provide all students with a high-quality academic education through the internationally recognised International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum in Key Stage 3, as well as national academic and vocational qualifications in Key Stages 4 and 5.
