Ripplevale School, Rochester is an independent day specialist school and college, specialising in teaching children and young people aged 6 to 25 who have diagnoses such ASD, DLD, anxiety, speech, language and communication needs, dyspraxia or dyslexia. We have an exciting opportunity to expand our team of dedicated therapists and therapy assistants. We are looking for a qualified Speech and Language Therapist, who ideally has some prior experience of working in a school setting.

You will have responsibility for working with children individually, in small groups or within the classroom to develop and deliver holistic, person-centred intervention programmes. You will play a key role in shaping the way Speech and Language Therapy is delivered in the school. You will work independently and autonomously, but with regular support and supervision. You will input into the EHCP process by providing your professional opinions and recommendations at annual reviews, both in person and through written reports.
