We are seeking a Midday Meals Supervisor to work every day in term time except staff training days 11.45am-1pm.   The Midday Meals Supervisor team are very experienced and friendly and will welcome you.  Training will be given. 

The role will be to support the young children to enjoy lunchtime in school. We are looking for a reliable person who will assist in ensuring the safety and welfare of students during the midday break. The successful candidate will enjoy working in a friendly team, caring for children and enjoy supporting their lunchtime activities.

Duties will include:

  • Support the children to play games and have fun at lunchtime
  • Setting up the tables
  • Supervising children in the dining hall
  • Undertake basic first aid if required
  • Monitoring playtime activities
  • Engaging with children to help scaffold their social times
  • Ensure the children return safely to their classroom at the end of lunchtime

You will be required to work 5 days a week for one hour between the hours of 11.45 and 13.00 (dependent on the class being supported) term time only with additional hours available.
