We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivational Head of Department for History to lead our successful team. You will be expected to teach across all three key stages. This is an exciting opportunity for an existing leader or someone who is ready to take the next step and make a real difference   You should also be sympathetic to the Catholic Ethos and Mission of the School.

Information about the school

Located on the southern fringes of the historic city of Canterbury, St Anselm's is a happy and successful wide ability school, catering for those who wish to receive a Catholic education. The school has a large catchment area extending from Ashford to Herne Bay and from Wingham to Faversham. It is regularly over-subscribed. The Sixth Form, numbering 150 students, offers a wide range of Advanced level and vocational courses. In September 2004 the school became a specialist school for Science, though retaining its Catholic ethos.
