At Future Schools Trust, we are looking for a Teacher of English to join our team at The Gateway from January 2025.

The Gateway offers an alternative provision to our students. The successful candidate will lead and support the learning of our students in English, including at GCSE level. Applications are invited from driven candidates who are able to show a real passion for these subjects and a want to instil this in their learners. 

You will either be an experienced, skilled and motivated teacher able to support an already successful team or be at the beginning of your career looking for a supportive and dedicated team to work with. If you are looking to get into teaching and have the ambition to gain your QTS in the future this is something that can be supported and funded towards by the Trust.   This rewarding role will suit someone with significant experience of working with young people who present challenging behaviours and knowledge of different teaching styles to engage students. Knowledge and experience of working with SEND students would be beneficial.
